Business Development Representative at Labrador

About Labrador AI is an all-in-one operating platform built exclusively for independent restaurants. We bundle every tool a restaurant needs — POS, online ordering, kiosk, SMS, loyalty, digital menu boards, AI phone, and internet — into a single solution with $0 monthly software fees. We earn on payment processing, which means we only succeed when the restaurants we serve succeed. The BDR role sits at the heart of that mission: bringing independent restaurant owners onto a platform that finally puts them on equal footing with the chains. The Position We're looking for a driven, self-directed Business Development Representative to grow the Labrador Payments Program. This is a hunter role — you'll be prospecting, pitching, and closing independent restaurant owners on a payments solution that's genuinely aligned with their success. If you're motivated by income, ownership, and the satisfaction of solving a real problem for real operators, this role is built for you. Key Responsibilities Prospect and cold-approach independent restaurant owners in your territory Run the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close Clearly explain the Labrador payments model and its financial benefits to merchants Handle objections and navigate B2B or business-owner sales conversations with confidence Represent Labrador's value proposition — one platform, one bill, zero monthly software fees Maintain accurate pipeline activity and follow-up cadences Qualifications Genuine motivation driven by income and self-directed achievement Demonstrated field sales experience, ideally in B2B or business-owner-facing environments Ability to manage the full sales cycle from cold approach to close Baseline financial literacy and aptitude for learning and explaining a payments model Strong communication skills — comfortable thinking on your feet and performing under mild pressure Payments industry experience is a plus but not required
