3. AI Interview Data

Our AI interview platform records and processes candidate interviews. This data is used solely to provide interview evaluations to the hiring company. We do not use individual interview recordings to train our AI models without explicit consent. Interview data is retained according to your account settings and applicable data retention laws.

Candidates are informed before their interview that they will be speaking with an AI interviewer and that the conversation will be recorded. Candidates may decline to participate at any time.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With Your Employer/Hiring Company: Interview results, transcripts, and evaluations are shared with the company that initiated the interview.
  • Service Providers: We work with third-party providers for infrastructure (cloud hosting, audio processing, speech-to-text, text-to-speech) who process data on our behalf under strict contractual obligations.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HireWow, our users, or others.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), access controls, regular security audits, and secure development practices. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Interview recordings and transcripts are retained for the period specified in your account settings (default: 12 months).
